Graduated from West Liberty State College with a Bachelor’s of Science degree, majoring in Business Management. He played running back and wide receiver for the Hilltoppers football program. Bo continued his education at West Virginia University, earning a Master’s of Science degree with a concentration in Athletic Coaching Education. After completing his college football playing career, Bo was fortunate to start his career in college football athletics. He spent 2 years as a Graduate Assistant, working directly with wide receivers at WVU. Next, he moved on to Glenville State College to coach the defensive backs for 1 season. He spent his final 2 seasons in the college ranks coaching wide receivers and coordinating the passing game at Bluffton University. He has remained very active in athletics through training, coaching and mentoring local youth. Bo resides on the Alabama Gulf Coast in Daphne, AL with his wife, Tara, and two children JT and Cameron.
